When two beloved brands join forces, you know something special is about to happen. So when Yo-Chi, Australia’s cult-favourite frozen yogurt brand, partnered with New Zealand’s iconic Whittaker’s Chocolate, we were thrilled to bring their sweet collaboration to life.

To celebrate the launch of their new Coconut & Caramel Block topping, Yo-Chi hosted an exclusive influencer event—and we were brought on board to style and coordinate the experience from start to finish.

 The Concept: Decadence Meets Drama

The brief was simple yet delicious: create a space that feels indulgent, elegant, and worthy of a chocolate celebration. Inspired by the creamy richness of Whittaker’s Coconut Block and Yo-Chi’s fun, fresh energy, we curated a visual story that blended depth, texture, and drama.

We styled the event space with:

  • A velvety chocolate-toned backdrop to add luxury and warmth

  • Sculptural chocolate fountains as the focal point

  • Gold trays, luxe candles, and reflective surfaces to elevate the feel

  • Rich fabric styling and dramatic lighting to create intimate, moody moments

 

The Styling: A Sensory Chocolate Experience

From the moment guests stepped in, the event activated the senses. The scent of chocolate, the richness of the textures, and the glow of candlelight created a decadent lounge-like atmosphere.

We introduced custom styling elements such as:

  • Gold-rimmed trays filled with Coconut Block samples

  • Layered displays of branded Yo-Chi cups and Whittaker’s bars

  • Chocolate-wrapped gift boxes to match the theme

  • Branded tote bags and aprons to add a polished, cohesive look for staff

Even the uniforms were thoughtfully styled—staff wore black shirts with chocolate-toned aprons embroidered with “share the chi,” creating strong visual brand presence throughout the space.

 

The Guest Experience: Immersive & Instagrammable

The event was crafted not just to look beautiful, but to invite content creation. Influencers were greeted with interactive stations, from scooping chocolate samples to building their dream Yo-Chi bowl topped with the new Whittaker’s Coconut & Caramel Block.

The entire layout was designed for visual storytelling, with curated backdrops, hero product displays, and elegant lighting that made it effortless for guests to capture the moment. The video recap tells it all—chocolate flows, laughter echoes, and content flows just as easily as the toppings.
